Weekend Roundup -- 12/17/05
Some great stuff this week.
- Captain’s Quarters has yet more evidence that unilateralism is the only way to go. And yet one more reason to be thankful John Kerry is still a flip-flopping senator instead of a flip-flopping president.
- At Decision ’08 there’s a very sad collection of quotations of the reactions to the Iraqi election by the ultra-lefties over at The Daily Kos.
- One of my favorite actors, Morgan Freeman, talks sense about race to CBS.
- The War on Christmas: A New York state politician angrily objects to the name of Jesus used at an official Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Hat tip to The Perspective.
- A heart-warming story about some American soldiers helping out (er…I mean terrorizing) some Iraqis in need at Iraq: The Good Stuff.
- Heard about the government eavesdropping on U.S. communications without a warrant? As usual, you have to go somewhere other than the mainstream media to find the whole story. Michelle Malkin has it.
- It’s true! The government response to Katrina was racist! Against white people! Just check out these statistics on who actually died. It would be nice if this would shut the race-baiters up, but since they’ve never paid attention to reality in the first place, I’m not holding my breath.
- A retired Israeli general believes Saddam’s WMDs were moved to Syria prior to the invasion. But of course, this guy is probably on Karl Rove’s payroll, since we all know Bush lied about the WMDs, right?
- Check out this comic at Speck Blog. You’ve gotta love the global warming believers!
- The Dawn Patrol reveals how Planned Parenthood boasts it covered up an 11-year-old’s rape. It’s scary to think how often this probably happens in the name of abortion profits.
- South Korean stem cell scientists admit they faked their data. (And here I thought it was supposed to be George Bush and the evil conservatives that were distorting scientific data.) You think a story like this will cause stem-cell research proponents to back off of their ridiculous claims about the benefits of harvesting unborn babies for research? Not on your life. Embryonic stem cell research is a cornerstone of the pro-abortion lobby’s efforts to further erode the value of human life in this country.
- Web site of the week: The Perspective. Note: After checking out this great site, please don’t forget about us here at Preaching Politics! :)
Enjoy!
